RULES
Mandatory Equipment -Skis with metal edges (Nordic skis are not permitted) -Binding capable of freeing the heel on the ascent (Nordic binding are not permitted) -Boots ( Nordic boots are not permitted, each boot must have at least 2 independent closing systems. Boots must be designed to be used with metallic crampons. Cross- country ski boots and bindings or equivalents are strictly forbidden. The use of adhesive tape on the boots is forbidden.) -Removable skins -Helmet -Poles -Eye protection -Backpack that can carry your skis for the boot pack sections Resume of the rules from the International Ski Mountaineering Federation ISMF |
